Artichokes are a vegetable crop available on FarmVille. It is not used for any crafting recipes.

Artichokes are considered by some to be the worst crop in FarmVille (along with Watermelons), with the longest growing period (shared with Watermelons and Yellow Melons), and the lowest profit and experience per hour - they take 4 days to grow and give only 2 experience , as well as costing 70 coins and harvesting at 204. A farmer must be at least level 6 to plant artichokes.

Artichokes are ideal for infrequent farmers who check on their farms as little as once per week, due to the long period of time to wither and the small number of harvests to obtain mastery.

The mastery amounts have recently changed. Level 2, Level 3 and the Total are correct and have been verified.
