Candy Cane is a seed in FarmVille. They were released on December 1st, 2010 until December 14th, 2010. For 25 cash (with the option to increase the donation to 55 cash or 240 cash), a farmer gets a 7-day license to plant these Candy Canes for 15 coins per plot. Regardless of donation amount, the license period remains 7 days, but may be purchased again for an additional donation. The farmer also receives a special gift: a Candy Cane Teddy Bear. Zynga donated 100% of all proceeds from Candy Cane Crop sales to support the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Candy Cane is one of the most inexpensive crops available on FarmVille. They can be planted by every farmer starting at level 1. They earn a farmer 2 XP for planting them, and only take 4 hours to grow at which time they can be sold for 100 coins. They are one of the best value crops, and yield the most coins per hour (17.50 coins per hour per plot) of any crop since the release of Super Berries.

Like the previous Sweet Seed crops, Candy Cane never wither, making it the best crop to plant if you might not visit for a long time. Candy Cane is the only required seed to complete the Co-Op job Candy Canes for the Kids.
