The Chicken is an animal available on FarmVille. They take 1 day to grow and produce eggs, which can be collected for 8 coins. Unlike crops, they do not whither, and can be harvested at any time after becoming harvestable.

AcquisitionEdit

Chickens were formerly purchasable at the market; chickens can now only be received as gifts or as a possible reward from a Mystery Egg.

After September 7, 2011, the Chicken could be grown from the Common Orange Aviary Egg.

Storage Edit

The Chicken can be stored in the Aviary. The Aviary can be harvested every 1 day. When harvesting a Aviary containing at least one Chicken, it is possible to find a Common Orange Aviary Egg. One Common Orange Aviary Egg is for the player, and can be placed in the player's gift box. The other Common Orange Aviary Egg can be shared to the player's wall.

The Chicken can be stored in the Chicken Coop. The Chicken Coop can be harvested every 1 day. When harvesting a Chicken Coop containing at least one Chicken, it is possible to find a White Mystery Egg. One White Mystery Egg is for the player, and can be placed in the player's gift box. The other White Mystery Egg can be shared to the player's wall.
