The Duck is an animal available on FarmVille. These animals can only be received as a gift from neighbors. You need to be level 15 in Farmville to gift a duck as a present to your neighbour. Ducks take 2 days to grow and farmers may collect down feathers from them, which will give 45 coins. Some farmers may choose to place ducks near a small or large pond, though this is purely for decoration. It is based off the real world Mallard. Farmers can get the Dapple Plume from duck while gathering the down feathers. Starting January 11, 2011 ducks may also be placed in a Duck Pond.

The Duck is also a reward, by the completion growing a Aviary's Common Orange Aviary Egg, released on the September 07, 2011.
