The Maison is a building released on March 12, 2010, as part of the French Chateau Event. It can be bought either ready-built for FarmVille Cash or for 5,000 coins as the Maison Frame. 50 pieces of building material bought for 1 each on the Market, or sent by neighbors by gifting are required to finish the Maison. Other than the similarly built Horse Stables, the Maison is only available for a limited time, originally until March 18. When the time expires and a farmer has not finished their Maison, they have to buy the remaining material for Farm Cash at the Market.

Upon finishing the construction of "La Maison" the builder receives a Provencal Pot II, with the option of sharing the bonus with 10 friends via the newsfeed.

Trivia Edit

• As many players were not able to finish their Maison on time, Zynga extended this feature on April 4th, 2010.
• There was a glitch on Farmville.com where you could finish your maison even without enough farm cash and it wouldn't use any farm cash.
