Nails are materials used for completing constructable buildings. They cost 1 FarmVille Cash each, but can also be received as a gift, from a Special Delivery Box, or by finishing the limited edition crafting recipe in the Winery.
Most buildings require 10 nails to finish, but the Haunted House and the Pigpen only need 8. Recently, the Greenhouse and Leprechaun's Cottage can be constructed with only 4 nails. The Fun House was the building that needed the most nails out of all buildings to complete (18 nails).
When a farmer has multiple uncompleted buildings that still need a nail, they may choose which building to build with it.

A Nail can be created in the Craftshop by crafting the below Bushel combination over a 4 hour period:
