The Redwood Tree is a limited edition decoration available in FarmVille. It was released along with other items as part of the Winter Holiday Event. It is most likely a Giant Sequoia. Although it is named a tree, it cannot be harvested.
In 2009 it had a selling price of 250 coins, and gave a farmer 50 XP. Then this item was re-released on December 20, 2010, for a limited time for the Winter Holiday Event (2010). In 2010 the selling price became 2000 coins and XP gained was 400 XP.
Please be note that the 2009 version of this item had the name "Redwood Tree" while the newer version of 2010 just had the name "Redwood".
