The Sheep is an animal in FarmVille. It can be purchased from the Market or received as a gift. It costs 700 coins to buy and is harvestable every 3 days; the Farmer can collect wool for 28 coins. It may be based on any one of a number of real-world blackfaced sheep, such as the Clun Forest Sheep, but is most probably based on the commonest sheep in the USA, the Suffolk.

A variant to the normal sheep is the Black Sheep, which can be adopted from neighbors. This also gives wool to farmers. Many different kinds of sheep are/have been available in FarmVille such as the Miner Sheep, Luv Ewe, Shamrock Sheep, Scared Ewe and Schooled Ewe, which are redeemable sheep. Various versions of the sheep are and were available in the market including the Pumpkin Sheep and Fan Sheep. Many other types of sheep can be found on FarmVille.

Sheep appear on various items such as the Balloon Stand, Bouncing Castle, Carousel, Fire Hydrant Fun, Free Fall Ride, Fun Slide, Ice Skate Ring, Super Spin Ride, and the Wood Swing. The sheep also is featured on its own topiary.
