Sweet Yams costs a farmer 25 coins (with plowing) and will give 3 experience for planting. The crop will grow in 6 hours and can be harvested to give a profit of 100 coins per crop. Sweet Yams never wither after 100% - Extra 100% Growth.
Farmville Crop Mastery Trivia: The true yam is a tropical vine tuber and is not related to the sweet potato. The nearest equivilent in real life to the crop is a potato breed 'Salad Blue' which has bright purple skin and flesh.
