Wheat is a grain crop available on FarmVille, originally released on June 19th, 2009 with a cost of 
35 coins and a harvest time of 3 days, it sold for 115 coins, which made it the lowest profit per hour of all other crops in FarmVille.
Acquisition
Wheat was changed on June 17th, 2010 to now cost 13 coins to plant and can now be harvested for 61 coins with a new harvest time of 12 hours. The new least profitable crop to grow now is the Artichokes.

- Organic Wheat mastery:
- In order to gain Organic Wheat mastery points you must have your crops certified as Organic.
- When this feature was 1st introduced, you had to complete the Gilda's Organic Crop Challenge quest in order to have your crop's certified as Organic.
- It is unclear, at the present time, if you can use Organic Fertilizer to have your crops certified as Organic now that the Gilda's Organic Crop Challenge quest is over.
